001 Driving Academy offers a complete range of courses to learners in Borehamwood, Elstree, Radlett, Shenley, Stanmore, Edgware and Mill Hill. Whether you want to learn to drive for the first time, want help in being able to pass the theory part of your driving test, or just need to refresh your driving skills after a break, we're here to give you what you need. We offer the following driving and test related courses:For the beginner – careful tuition in all aspects of driving a car, with a professional experienced driver. Your first hour is free within our 2 hour initial lesson if you quote "EFLET" when you call. You can book by the lesson at £25 per hour, or get a discounted rate for our 10 hourly lesson course (pre-booked and pre-paid). Not everyone wants to learn to drive at the same rate as everyone else. If you have a need to pass your test quickly, then you can drive from one to four hours per day, with a driving test at the end, if that’s what you want. Our intensive courses are all pre-booked and pre-paid, so these only cost £23.50 per hour. You choose the hours you want, and we’ll make the arrangements. As part of the existing Driving Test, drivers must now be able to pass a two part theory test. The two parts are Hazard Perception and a multiple choice test both of which are completed on a computer. Hazard Perception is a one hour lesson which can be included within a standard course or on its own. We also offer assistance with the Computer Assessment as a separate lesson if that is required. Please call for more details, or we can call you. A great way for the newly qualified driver to get more experience (including motorway driving). Pass Plus offers real advantages to the new driver in terms of increasing personal confidence while driving alone for the first time and also obtaining potential discount on their insurance. Our course gives you a minimum of 6 hours driving at a great rate of £150 for the first 6 hours and £25 per hour thereafter. If you haven’t driven for a while, then you probably could do with a few lessons to get used to being behind the wheel again. Since you last drove, road markings, signage and rules about where you can drive may have changed significantly, and you also would benefit from regaining your confidence. At our £23 per hour rate, you can have as many (or as few!) lessons that you need to be confident and relaxed about driving. Learnt to drive on an automatic? No problem! We offer a conversion course that enables you to adjust to the difference in driving experience.
